Adventures with Nancy!!

Hi, this is Simon. I'm trying to be very quiet as Aunt Nancy is sleeping, but I had to tell you about our adventure today. We got to see our very first football game. Aunt Nancy took us to the Wisconsin Badgers football game and they won. She was very excited. She took us down close to the field to have our pictures taken. It was very neat.

After that, we went back to our seats. I was kind of confused because she had told us all about the rules of football and we learned that there were 4 quarters in the game. Then all of a sudden she was talking about the "5th Quarter" of the game and we were really lost. Then we found out what was going on. The Badger band came out and played for a while. We got to dance and everything!!

Today at work she made us sit there all day with something very funny looking on my head--it looked like a hat that was shaped as cheese. She started calling me a "Cheesehead!" She said that it is something that all people from Wisconsin wear on their heads at one time or another.

(what else?  Packer sweater!)

Well, I better get to bed before she hears me. Have a great day everyone.

Love,

Simon

Hi! Yes, they are indeed on the road again. They are on their way to Linda's (Lindallen) and they should be there in the next 2-3 days, just in time to see the Head Bean again.

I had a lot of fun with them--we had several photo opportunities. They are kind of bummed because they will be in a box and unable to watch their new favorite teams (Wisconsin Badgers and Green Bay Packers!). They will be cheering all the way to Texas though. While they were here we went to the Wisconsin Badger game, watched the Packers (lose :(  ). They went to both of my jobs and they had their picture taken with Kit (the newest doll in the American Girl collection). Of course, no trip to Wisconsin would be complete without putting a cheesehead on--they did that too!

I hope they have a great time in the rest of their travels. Thanks again Rory for all of your work!

Hugs,

Nancy
