Here
we are at Aunt Marna and Uncle Dave's.
We were disappointed to arrive too late to go with Aunt Marna to
the teddy bear club meeting. We had to stay in that box until she came home and let us
out.
It is raining here and we can't find our umbrella.
Aunt Marna will have to let us use one of hers.
She promised to help us across the puddles so we won't get our feet
wet.
The first thing we did was get introduced to Nipper and Tucker, who were
really interested when we came out of the box. They are nice doggies, though and they have promised not to
take us outside without Aunt Marna.
Aunt Marna doesn't have a digital camera, just a web camera, so this
picture did not come out very clear, but here we are writing this letter
to you all to you.

Dear
Mom and all our Aunties,
We are having a good time here in Washington, but so far there is no snow
for us to use our sled. We
should have brought our umbrelly instead, and Aunt Marna is going to try
to find us one.
On our first day here we were really hungry when we arrived, but Uncle
Dave cooked sourdough pancakes with real maple syrup.
Yum!!! In the evening
we sat by the fire in the stove and took a nap.
It was lucky we got some rest, because that night the wind really
blew and made a lot of noise. We weren't afraid, but Tucker was, and he barked at every
little sound so he kept waking us up.
Aunt Marna says a lot of trees fell and there was a mud slide which
closed a road, but nothing happened here except that the water was off for
a while.
Yesterday we got to ride along in the truck and help cut the Christmas
tree. We found a really nice
one and today we are busy decorating it.
It is good that we had something to do inside today because it was
raining. The first nice
evening we are going to take a drive to see the Christmas lights.
Aunt Marna says that right after Christmas we get to go home!
We have had a great time on our travels, but we will be happy to
see Mom again.
