Simon and Andy visit with Carolyn! The guys arrived in Corpus Christi safe and sound on Monday afternoon. We went out for Mexican food and Simon decided he liked green cheese enchiladas. They went to school with me on Tuesday, Halloween. My kindergarten kids loved them! They even reminded me not to forget them when we went out to recess. I took Simon and Andy out kayaking with me but Simon said he didn't know how to swim so he stayed in the truck! The beach was really nice and the temperature was hot. We saw lots of birds but no other bears. On Wednesday, I took him to visit my local Boyds dealer, Second Hand Rose. He got to meet a lot of his cousins...they all had the same birthmark...a blue tag on their behinds! Friday was a big day at the school...we all dressed up as our favorite book character. I went as Junie B. Jones (Party Animal) and Simon went as a mummy (as mommy Rory suggested!). Everyone had a great time!!! I think Simon picked up a bit of Spanish while he was here...I heard him say "Adios" when I took him to the post office for his trip to California. Carolyn
