Hi Y'all!
Whew!  What a trip. We  arrived at Brenda's house in San Angelo, TX, on Monday. Andy was a little tired but I was ready to get out of that box and explore. So while he napped, I chatted with some of Brenda's Boyds' buddies of mine.  She has quite a few. LOL 
Today, we got in her car and drove about 25 miles out into the country.  You should see all the cotton fields out here. We saw farmers riding on their tractors, stripping the cotton. Now I know where my cotton outfit came from.  That amazed me!!!
Brenda took me to her school in a little community called Veribest.  She says it's the 'very best' school in Texas. Now I know why she says that.  Andy and I got to meet her third grade students.  They were so kind and excited to meet us.  We read lots of stories and even got to eat POPCORN!!!  They are doing a project with popcorn since October is National Popcorn Month.  Did you know that?  It was fun!!!
We're pretty pooped though.  So for now, we are headed to bed.  We'll check back in a few days and let you know what else we did.

Hi Again!
This will be our final letter from San Angelo.  It's time to head out to Corpus Christi to visit with Carolyn!  We've had another fun week here with Brenda. This was Drug Awareness Week at her school.  We learned some very important things about drugs.  A big helicopter from Border Patrol landed at the school!!!  The guys talked to us about their jobs and how they captured smugglers.  It was so cool.  Brenda's camera was on the blink so you won't see us in the cockpit. :'(  Anyway, here's ONE picture!
