Twas the 11th of November
And all through my house
Not a creature was stirring
Not even my 'puter mouse.
My coffee was prepared
In the microwave with care
So in the morning I could sip
While doing my hair.
My Boyds Bears and Hares
Were all in their places
With visions of new pals
To fill up empty spaces.
DH is his bear ears (yeah
sure! LOL)
And I in mine, too
Were snuggled up tight
To sleep the night through.
Then suddenly in my dreams
There arose such a vision
I knew in a moment
It must be a new mission.
The AOL Boyds Board was void
Not a post there...not one!
Not a MOBster was talking
No one was having any fun.
But what to my Boydsie eyes
Did appear?
But a group of men and women
With some pets in the rear.
But where were they going?
What was the deal?
They had their possessions!
And were walking with zeal!
There was Suz, Linda and
Joanne
And Michelle singing a song
There was Linda and Susan
And Ron in his gold lame thong!!
There was Bonnie and Leslie
And Janice wearing a purple plume
There was Carol and Sally
And Mikki with her broom!
There was Jody and Amy
And I think I saw Sunny
There was Marna and Linda
And Darlene...hopping like a bunny!!
Gayle, Patti and Rae
Dancing the YAYA and yipee!
There was Jamie and Jaime
And I SAW Janice C. !!!
There was Barbara, Gail and
Val
And outta the stockroom was Steve
There was Ted and Karen
And Linda...what's up YOUR sleeve!!!!
I saw Jennifer, Marian and
Kristyn
And Debbie, Anne Marie and Sybil
There was Marie, Sharon and Coleen
And Sue hollerin' about some camel!!
There was Donna and Lin
Carrying big sticks...a MUST!
I saw a moose following Linda
And Francine blowing angel dust.
There was Robin, Kara and
Suzanne
Lynne, Krisin, Julie and Sher
There was Tess, Kathi and Judy
And was that Cindy pokin' Ron's derriere?
There was Jackie, Lisa and
Mary Ann
And I think I saw Liz...
There was Patty, Mary and Celeste
(And I think I saw Dave...taking a whiz!!)
I saw Laurie, Penny, Heather
and Monica
(I know...there's a lot!!)
And Donna, Ruth, Tere and Jackie
Was that Queen Kathe carrying HONEYPOT!!!?
There was Ellen, Carla and
Dara
I saw Gloria, Doe and Diane
There was Laurie Anne and Elva
In this long caravan.
OH...and then there was me!
(Couldn't leave me out...well Duh!)
Gee whiz...who would have thought
I was wearin'...my toga!
At the end of this MOB
(Incognito, bear in mind!)
Was a bearded dressed turkey.
Who was laggin' behind...
He had on a ball cap
With an inscription so bold
The initials were familiar...
They said, "KKR GOLD"!
They continued to walk
I could hear all their voices
I saw laughing...heard roaring
And a few off-colored choices.
I awoke with a feeling
Of humor and delight
But did not know this mission
Til I got home that night.
I ran to my 'puter
Signed onto AOL
Got an IM from Linda
What the HE**?
"We've got a NEW board
For the MOBsters! Go read!"
SO I did JUST THAT.
And in the excitement...I peed.
Some MOBsters were missing
This dream isn't done
They'll be joining soon for some
GREAT MOBSTER FUN!!!!!
